We have begun studying Greek this year with A Greek Alphabetarion which has an
accompanying CD by Harvey Bluedorn. If we make it through this introduction, we hope to
study Greek more in depth next year.
Other languages - Power Glide Spanish has been especially recommended for Spanish and
Rosetta Stone programs for many languages - sometimes made available through public
libraries. We have used the Living Language programs for an overview of conversational
language without an indepth study of conjugating verbs, etc. There are also many interactive
CD rom programs available for your pc. Early exposure to other languages can be beneficial.
American Sign Language is considered by some educators as a foreign language. We have
enjoyed 2 books by Mickey Flodin, Signing Everyday Phrases and Signing For Kids.
